Cantigas de Maio pays homage to the great musical authors who contributed with their stamp to Portuguese music’s identity, such as José Afonso, Fausto Bordalo Dias, Vitorino Salomé, Sérgio Godinho, José Mário Branco, Adriano Correia de Oliveira.
Revisiting the musical universe of these composers is also sought to make known to younger generations a set of songs that mark a turning point in the social, political and cultural history of Portugal.
