Mocho Gris is a collaboration between Portuguese artist João Neves and Galician musician Lucas de Centi, merging their rich cultural heritage into a singular Iberian project.
With a mystique that fuses alternative pop, electronic music, and Western experimental songwriting, alongside influences from fado and indietronic sounds, the duo began performing in 2016. Their first EP followed in 2019, marking the start of their creative journey.

In 2024, Mocho Gris return with their debut album, 2, released under the Madrid-based label raso. The record blends alternative pop, mystical electronics, and Galician-Portuguese musical traditions, featuring collaborations with artists like Rocío Márquez and reinterpretations of works by Amália Rodrigues and António Variações. Also available on vinyl, 2 pushes the boundaries of contemporary Iberian music with its unique and evocative sound.
